Q.
My baby is 6 months old, she s having fever from 3 days.. Since night she is not drinking milk just licks the nipple and take her face back, when we try giving in spoon or paladai (ಒಳಲೆ) she is drinking..she is not peeing since more than 12 hours..Pls help.. we are giving the medicines

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. hi, during fever such behavior can be consider. feed your baby in whatever way she accept. try to latch directly to your breast..and also Continue spoon feeding as well.. give your baby is in the right position.

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children3 years agoA. keep baby well hydrated.. as baby is suffering fever there will be water loss, so frequently you should give water,.. you can give oral rehydration solution..ORS.. apply coconut oil on lower abdominal area and massage in circular motion.. give cycling massage of baby legs to ease urinating..
