Q.

my baby is 2 years 10 months old...she knows almost book picture a to z many poems ..she knows I m her mom..but whenever she want water or something she is not telling me . only saying water...she doesn't want to communicate but she understands every thing.except yes or no...and she talks alot ownself I m giving her time she plays with me but she doesn't want to speak sentence .. should I have to go for therepy or should I have to wait

A. Hi, If your child speak few small words like maa baa paa etc then no need to worry. Speak more and more to your baby. Ask everyone in your family to talk to the baby. Tell stories and sing nursery rhymes with your child. Engage the baby with other children of same age group. If no improvement is no observed in a few weeks,I would recommend you to visit speech therapist he would be able to guide you better after clinical examination.
