hi sir my baby iz 2.11 she smells everything she knows many book pictures name but she doesn't want to communicate in real life things ....she knows many poems many songs watever I reached she learns quickly but she doesn't want to respond her name from others ...she is copying me alot but she doesn't want to communicate only if I will ask than she only replies back wat should I do

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good morning this is how it starts By 9months to 1yeat they just say mama, papa. By 15 months will understand whatever we say and will observe more. By 18 months they speak few meaningful words amma appa papa mamma thattha.. After two years they make combinations of words like amma give, amma take, appa go, mama come.. Later they make sentences. It will take time for them to speak complete full sentences. Just keep talking more to your kid. If she doesn't contact speech therapist
