Q.

my baby is 16 months old now. in government hospital they didn't give pcv vaccine.. she took vaccine at 12 months.. in hospital they told need to take vaccine agin in 18 months old.. no need in 15 months. iam attaching my baby vaccine sheet. please find out and suggest.. is everything OK?

A. pcv which also stands for pneumococcal vaccine is a very important vaccine and is mandatory for all children. at present the vaccine is that much important that the indian government is giving it now free of cost in regular vaccination schedule. meet your doctor who will tell you the schedule for pneumococcal vaccine. f even if it was missed previously you can go for it now also. d this vaccine prevents infection due to pneumococcal bacteria which can affect the brain throat chest the child.

A. you can get at 18 months two doses of pcv vaccination you can get pcv10 and pcv13 second one consult your pediatric and follow update the baby details in first cry vaccination tracker to get details regarding upcoming vaccination
