My babies are 3 Month 4 days old and my question is they have gained only 100 grams of weight in last 15 days they are having more breastfeed and less amount of formula milk after 2.5 months so is this weight gain a question of concern

A. Namaste Mom, Calculate the weight on a monthly basis , which for a full term baby it is expected to gain in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight.

A. Seat it is expected a child to gain somewhere around 500 g in a month if it is a full term child and if the child is not gaining proper weight then you can consult her doctor because hundred grams should be seen within the time of seven days or so so it’s better to give more of formula that way and check with your doctor required
