Q.

my baby girl is 4 months 3 weeks old.her birth weight is 2.6 kg now her weight is 5.9 kg .from last 2 weeks she gained only 100 grams weight.my baby is on exclusively breastfeeding since her birth. am worried about her weight and y she gained only 100 grams can you please suggest is it normal or not

A. Hundred grams weight a child should gain in a week so maybe now you’re breastfeeding is not working out sufficiently for overall weight gain please consult a lactation doctor and if they advise you that you should start with a formula feeding please go ahead with that are going to have proper weight gain and growth wit
