Q.
my 9 months baby is suffering from cold from last 4 days am giving citizen syrup no use at all and he is breathing from mouth and nose block also tell me cold syrup which will cure him immediate

Cold is a viral disease that may occur with symptoms like sneezing, running nose, cough ,sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.at times it may be allergic too. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but it it will be better to take onlytr under medicalo guidance.so please get examination and treatment done by your pediatrician it will be better.it is not advisable to self medicate

Put nasoclear Nestle drops if we help in opening the blockage of the nose and your child will be able to breathe properly after that other than that you can continue with the syrup that you are other than that you can go for sinarist Medicine it’s a very good tonic that you can go for and you can give indirect steam to the child as well
