Q.

my 6 month baby has light fever in morning. checked temperature 99.1 F. do I need to take any action or start medication. for your reference, my 6 years old son detected Covid-19 positive 10 days back. he is in complete isolation from the same. also his health is okay.

A. no it s not a must baby on touch can have warm sole forehead and is a normal thing . Temperature above 99 farenheit at armpit level is considered as fever and needs medicines .  Can give calpol / Sumol / T 98 for fever and can be repeated every 6 hours . if fever does not subside with paracetamol and persists for more than 2 days then you need to consult a doctor for examination to know cause of fever .
