Q.

is it normal for toddlers not liking to eat food during cold??? my son has cold from yesterday he's refusing to eat lunch n he's feeling his stomach full... bt there s no problem with breakfast n dinner..

A. yes that is common it is very common that during the illness the child will not take food. give small amount of easily digestible food to the child many times if you take the child in garden or open area that will cheer up the child and that might improve the appetite give regular water and fluids to the child to improve hydration because that will also improve appetite you can give fruits as well as juices from the fruits which again acts as appetizer during illness if the child takes 60% to 70% of the diet then also it's fine

A. good afternoon this is very common for children to lose appetite when they are not feeling well I would recommend you to give buttermilk to a baby 45 minutes before the lunch time to improve the appetite
