infant having cold ..he is 23 days old

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. baby s just 1?month old so common cold or seasonal flu is viral in origin. Know some remedies to relieve baby. For nasal blockage give naso clear saline drops which should be put in nose 2 drops each. Can give otrivin pediatric nasal drops 2- 3 drops each nose. Can give indirect steam inhalation in which steam is just in surrounding of baby. It can help to remove mucus by coughing process. Apply vicks vaporub over back and chest of baby In case baby has abnormal breathing sounds so soon see a doctor as it needs auscultation and examination.
