please stop using belt as you are not feeling comfortable with this.
instead of it, start to do exercises or yoga regularly after 6 months of delivery.
till that Walk walk and walk.
don't use vehicle for short distance.
eat couple of bites less than usual.
eat low fat high fiber diet like green leafy vegetables, fruits more.
increase your fluid intake
drink warm water with honey and few drops of lemon juice daily in morning.
maintain good hygiene
