I’m a mother of 2months old baby girl I have cold is it true that my baby will catch cold if I breastfeed her

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of a 12 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. if you are a breastfeeding mother so the child may also get infection if you are having cold so take precaution also take proper medication and steam inhalation for yourself

No Your child will not catch cold from you if you continuously bread feed your child okay child and only catch a cold if you sneeze or cough over your child by mistake so where a mask for the time being whenever you’re feeding the child so that you know do not pass on the infection to the child
