A. as a pediatrician I would definitely suggest that for protection you can go for vaccination government of India does not allow lactating mother and pregnant mother to take vaccination. at present the government does not have any statistics and studies and clinical trials to show whether this vaccine is safe for them or not. but according to Western studies and western medical guidelines they recommend that lactating mothers can take the vaccination. also so there are many e gynaecological and paediatric doctors would recommend this. the final decision has to be taken by the mother after consulting your personal doctor

A. If you are breastfeeding, or planning to breastfeed, you can continue breastfeeding after vaccination. Clinical trials on the use of coronavirus vaccines while breastfeeding are not advanced. However, the available data do not indicate any harm to the breastfed infant.
