Q.

I have placenta previa grade 1 ...now I am in 6th month of pregnancy..what precautions will you suggest?

A. I had grade 4 placenta previa during my pregnancy from 6th month. Doctor suggested complete bedrest and no physical activities until the delivery, and the diet was the same.. Lot of fluids, less sugar intake, fruits and vegetables. Try avoiding Indian toilets as you have to bend down everytime. Do not eat any heat causing foods. As u will be under rest mode, chances of constipation will be more hence take lot of water and fiber rich foods. Hopefully placenta will move away by 9th month or your delivery. Do not worry much, my previa was gone by 9th month and i had a safe delivery. Just follow the instructions from your gynaec.

A. Mam I think it would be best for you to consult your gynaecologist for all the precautions and diet that you need to take anything you precisely need to include or exclude how do you need to proceed what precautions you need to take everything step-by-step your doctor would advise you
