Q.
I have adopted a baby.. it's 18 days old now... I am taking galact granules powder for breast milk and am using breast pump.. will this work out?

Chitradevi PMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi Mom, For those adoptive mothers who have chosen to breastfeed, but who haven't had a prior pregnancy or given birth, induced lactation is one option. Another option is relactation, for women who have given birth to a baby previously and want to lactate again in order to feed their adopted baby, relactation is possible weeks, months or even years after having a previous baby. Finally, nursing supplements can stimulate breastfeeding without inducing a milk supply. These are the three options.
