Q.
I have a 5 year baby girl and i want know about her hairs... from. last 20-25 days we are facing problem of hairfall and her hairs goes very light day by day . quantity of hairs are too much while using comb in a single time... suggest me with solutions and precautions.. I already apply coconut oil, curd etc but no difference..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons.
Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there.
After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there .
Hairs will grow back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality hair will be there by around 2 years of age.
Cradle cap is also a cahuse for frequent shedfding of hairs. along with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position

Mam see about 30 to 35 stands for days count of Sid are completely normal in that case it is not hair fall and if it is more than that for your child and I suggest you to consult a dermatologist to understand as to what could be the reason behind itWrite Your Answer Here
