I am suffering from cough. Dr.suggested codine phosphate tossex syrup. is it safe to take while breastfeeding??? is there any effect on baby health while taking this syrup????

If your doctor knows that you are a breastfeeding mother still if the doctor has advised you with the scuff of then you can take it also most of the cough syrup can be taken during the time of lactation there is no problem that basic composition that can be taken
