Q.

How do I get my child to actually listen when I say it’s time to turn off the screen without a meltdown? TIA

A. Dear mom, it takes time. Patience is the key. First few days kid will throw tantrums and if you give in, they think that it's the only way to get back the screen. So, be firm. Set timers for screen and once the time is over the kid needs to hand over the phone back. You can also try using Parental control apps like Parent Geenee which will be helpful in controlling screen time.

A. Mami I’ll tell you something very honestly kids are getting more aggressive day by day and they get agitated instantly when you try to take the screen away that is the bad effect of screen because it is actually brain numbing and it’s not good so you should stop giving mobile totally to the child you can give a little bit of television time but if you read about the effects of giving mobile to small child you will actually be very scared to see that and you will prefer giving not giving any mobile to the child
