Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if anyyu fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the doese can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good evening I would recommend you to try to give your baby indirect steam you can massage with the help of garam sarson ka tel on the chest and back of your baby it will help to provide a lot of relief
