Hlw Sir, is Covid-19 vaccine safe for lactating mother? My daughter's age is 15 months. Is there any time gap to follow for feeding after vaccination?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely according to the latest recommendation which is approved now .
minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can frbe handled safely by taking paracetamol .
only pregnant women and children are not included in this list.
mothers can feed their child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child.
