Q.

Hii, I am 27 yr old. My baby is 6 month now. I am still breastfeeding him. Before pregnancy I was 56 kg but now I am 72 kg . plz give some suggestions and diet n exercise to reduce weight.

A. Dear mum, to reduce your weight, you should eat mindfully. Avoid processed and packaged foods. Have a balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseed. Have small frequent meals and adequate fluid intake. Exercise for 45 to 60 minutes every day and have an active lifestyle. Begin with exercises like brisk walk, yoga.
