hi My child is 5 years old n keeps getting cold n fever almost every 2 months.

Author of questionMom of a 8 yr old girl3 years agoA. thank u, i also wanted to know the crosin syrup should it only be given whrn the fever rises for 3 days or keep giving after every 6 hours

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations. many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections. it is very common that childrfen will have a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever before 5 to 7 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away. get the child vaccinadted for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this problem
