Q.

Hi my baby is 4months old he is having fever and cold, our pediatrician doctor gave lemocold syrup 1.5ml and mucolite and gudcef drops, am only worried that lemo cold (chlorpheniramine maleate +phenylephrine) combination is banned by government can I still give this combination???

A. can clarify with Dr. and also it is not banned. it is important to follow the instructions and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical procedures not prescribed / guided by the doctor. take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification

A. If you have a doubt about this combination then you kindly recheck with the doctor because even I have heard lately some medicines have been banned by the government in combination and separately also so you should check with your doctor for another medication on this
