Q.

My baby is 1 year 1 month old and she has cold from last 1 week. On consulting Doctor, he prescribed Mucolite syrup. Is this syrup safe for 1 year old babies?

A. Doctor, can you please tell me whether to give Mucolite syrup or not?

A. may be due ti the cold .Nasal block or congestion is due to the common cold and flu mainly due to season variation . Steam along with other home remedy like maintaining baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .
