hi I am breast feeding to my 8 month old baby. can I have Corona vaccine? is it safe to have vaccine while breast feeding? thank you.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. according to the current guidelines the recommendation for lactating mothers pregnant women and children is not there for covid-19 vaccine so it cannot vbe given to these category of people so wait

Breastfeeding advice In line with recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has recommended that any suitable coronavirus vaccine can be given to women who are breastfeeding.
