Hi Dr My kid iron level seems low in blood work.He is vegetarian. What healthy options are there for him in diet ? No to medicine.

A. hi dear mum , include green leafy vegetables , legumes beans like black chana rajmah sprouts dates , munnakka , dried figs , prunes bajra rajgira , black til adiv seeds citrus fruits pimogranate squeeze lemon over food no tea coffee

A. Hello my dear parent! Green leafy vegetables are rich and Iron. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dry fruit and dairy in your child’s daily. Also, try giving ragi. Serve your child with healthy home-made foods in cute Babyhug bowls to encourage eating healthy. Consult your doctor for further guidance in this matter.
