hi doctor.. my daughter is 2 yrs n 8 months old.. she had fever from Saturday evening n and from Sunday mid she started having vomitting and loose motion every 3 hrs. later Sunday we have been to casualty and though she is not dehydrated and since temp was 103 n 104 on Sunday early morning and not taking any intake since 2 days they have taken blood n urine test and they have drips along with antibiotics, vomit medicine next day morning they informed viral infection in stomach it will take time to heal, loose motion will gradually will stop in 2 or 3 days, and can't give medicine for that and we came home and we have asked to not to give milk for a week since she has vomit and recommend to give electral or mosami juice and curd rice or sugar n salt water to keep her hydrated.. since she is not drinking adequate quantity of water...they asked to force n give water or juice.. so whole day we have been giving water n juice abt 20 or 30ml ever 30 or 45 mins. she have a habit of drinking milk in the mid night.. morning fully she was refusing to eat solids n also liquids and in mid night she is asking for milk.. can v give milk in diluted form?
