Hi Doctor, I am breastfeeding my baby. I accidentally took one Sumo tablet (Nimesulide 100 mg + Paracetamol 325 mg) at 3:40 AM today for a severe headache. It was not prescribed to me. I have not breastfed my baby since taking it. I hand-pumped some milk and discarded it now.

Is it safe for me to breastfeed now after this single dose?
If not, how long should I wait before breastfeeding again?
Will this dosage will affect my baby ?
If my baby accidentally breastfeeds during this period, what symptoms should I watch for?

It should be fine , but next time onwards just be careful and you may before hand get the dr suggestion on safe medications for your condition as such

Very long time it’s almost 6 to 7 hours you can feed the child so not an issue and do you know taking some milk out and discarding is not going to help because the medicine entire body that are discarded so as of now you can take it but search for such emergency situations you should check with your doctor what medicine you can take so that you do not take these medicines again in case of emergency
