hi doc... my 1 year old doesn't respond to his name...other wise he is active n does everything

A. See your child as every thing that you say why your child is doing every thing all by itself there is a difference between two things because at this age kids can very well respond to the little little commands you say so that’s forcing second if you is calling your child with different names then it is a matter of concern because when the child does not know what is my name I am I being talked about know so that’s something that the child is confused about but if you are using one formal name still if the child is not responding give it a month or so otherwise consult a child psychologist also check how well is your child making an eye contact with you
