Q.

Hello, my daughter is 2.8 years old, she knows everything like alphabets, numbers, fruits, vegetables, animals, their sound and so many rhymes but does not communicate with us, she only speaks few words like water piyo, milk chahiye, banana, chips, I am really worried, when she will start talking like other kids asking so many questions??

A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just makte the child comfortable and do more interaction with thge child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

A. Siri I would just like to tell you very simply as of now if your child is understanding every thing that you were explaining apart from the things that your child is saying then speech is not a problem speech can start by the age of three years also but if your child is not understanding anything properly as per the age and that is a matter of concern sorryWrite Your Answer Here
