Hello Dr I baby is 4month old and she having fever from last night I have given calpol drop medicine.. but then also her temperature is high.. what to do.. and can I give her oil massage in fever or not.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. do not do oil massage during fever.. keep temperature checking 6 hourly..give calpol in proper dose Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately. Dress your child lightly. Use a sheet instead of a blanket to cover her in bed. Breastfeed or give your baby formula often to maintain hydration of body maintain proper hygein.

Manali K MehtaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi parent please don't massage her for now keep her hydrated she should be breast feed frequently keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
