Hello doctor, I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant and here at my place gynac didn't ask me for a quad test, can I go for it now at this stage of pregnancy. earlier I had a dual marker test which came normal. so please advice should I go for the quad test on my own.

Author of questionExpecting Mom due in 4 months1 week agoA. because in my first pregnancy I had this test done, and now I'm 37 years old, so just out of concern nothing else. Even the double marker was done on my request only. currently m in tier 2 city and here they don't ask for such a test.

Why do you need to get it done when your doctor is not advising you to please tell me that if the doctor would find it necessary for you to do it they will tell you unnecessary scans are just waste of money double marker is exceptionally important if you’ve gotten it done and everything seems normal maybe that is why your doctor has not advised you for another scan
