good morning Dr. my daughter is 1 year old. we are living in a cold country now but she doesn't want to sleep hot place and always wanted a cold place I eat cold but she can't sleep does it normally. by the way she has had a fever for 3 days I think it is for her teething.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. teething is not directly related to digestion problem or any type of fever or loose motion or illness but during the teething process children place dirty things or dirty fingers in the oral cavity (this help in self soothing) which can lead to digestion problem or vomiting or loose motion or infection which can causse fever.
placing dirty fingers or dirty objects in the oral cavity continues for 2 years of age and in this phase only the child falls ill during the teething phase
remember the dfact that teething continues for 10 years but the child doesn't fall ill for 10 years
