Q.
Baby is 9months , yesterday it was very cold in Ahmedabad due to rain,I think he got exposed, today he has vomitted twice.Can it be due to cold or infection, kindly give expert advice and medicine

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. yes that possible after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis kindly give easily digestible food for few days like rice dal khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana poha upma and do not give milk to the child. also it is advisable not to give any milk products like outside milk cerelac milk powder cow milk animal milk. you cannot give chocolate and icecream. you cannot give outside food as well as preservative food. avoid giving raw food and also sugary food avoid tea coffee. if required your doctor will add antacids as well as anti colic medicines for your chilsd
