Adequate hydration is essential to prevent dehydration caused by fever and diarrhea. Encouraging the child to consume small, frequent meals can help maintain their energy levels. Administering antibiotics as prescribed by a healthcare professional is vital to combat the bacterial infection. Rest and maintaining a clean environment are also key factors in recovery. Monitoring the child's temperature and seeking medical attention if symptoms worsen are important for early intervention.
