#asktheexperts is it common for babies of one year old to express social anxiety during this times of COVID-19, my baby tends to be cranky when she meets a new face

A. Yes. It is totally normal. It is called stranger anxiety. It will resolve on their own when they are little older. Till then you can help your little one to get comfortable with new people by trying to meet with them often and playing a game of peekaboo or doing some other fun activity that your child likes with them.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 14 months old and if there’s something sentimental things then she may not react it as these senses are developing after 6/7 months of age

A. yes it is quite possible the baby also need exposure and need to know about the the social interaction for a normal behaviour it will get resolve it m should not worry
