#asktheexperts Hi, we have taken the 3.5 months vacination on 25th Aug 2022 for our baby. The next day we found swelling on his left thigh, so had given ice pack for 2 days, hot water pack for 2 days and applied Thrombophob medicine for 3 days. But still the swelling is there. pls suggest. TIA

A. Hello..no need to ise THROMBOFOB, small lump where the injection was given which disappears after a few weeks can occur. If the shot site has Redness, swelling, and tenderness where the injection was given than do Consult your paedritician.
