#asktheexperts hi, I am 38 Weeks pregnant, have diabetes - HbA1C -6.5 as per last test, baby wt- 3.06kg, AFI - 20.3 as per sonography done on 07.06.2025. my dr suggests induction of pain. should I wait or go as per Drs. advice??

A. Yes, Kindly follow whatever your doctors advises. The amniotic fluid is on the higher side and it has to be dealt with atmost care. As you also have a high risk factor of diabetes is 38 weeks is the right time.
