#asktheexperts Hello Dr my 4.5 month Old's head is hot, I observed it multiple times, whenever we feel hot, we are applying castor oil, what may be the reason

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. castor oil is not reason. it's normal in infants . . hot head without fever is a result of baby’s undeveloped thermoregulation system.
Take off extra layers of clothes and blankets.
Breastfeed it more often.
Massage the body gently and soothingly.
Keep room temperature comfortable
