Q.

#asktheexperts hello doctor am 27 weeks pregnant with cervical cerclage. My cervical length is 20.6 mm with funnelling seen above the stitch. As per advise of my doctor am on strict bedrest Ana taking susten 400 vagina tablet twice per day and progesterone injection every two weeks. Is it possible to prolong pregnancy to 34-35 weeks on this situation

A. Hello! Well, there are chances for it. Please do not overstress yourself and strain. Take the medication as advised by the doctor and there should be a gradual improvement and condition. Keep your doctor informed about any changes or concerns.

I’m confirmation cannot be provided on these things if everything goes well as per what your doctor recommending then probably you can pull it up but we cannot give you a confirmation on that because you still left it at least eight or nine weeks so it’s very difficult to give you 100% clarity on this
