Follow three day rule.
Breastfeeding or formula feeding should continue alongside the solid foods, as they still form an essential part of the infant diet till 1 year.
Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) .
Moong Daal water, rice kangi.
Ragi porridge, rice porridge.

You can slowly increase the amount as the baby gets older. Too much of water can also fill the stomach and baby will resist to take other solids. Other than water Baby will get the needed hydration through breastmilk or other liquids that u feed. On an average babies upto one year can take around 60 to 100ml water per day if they have adequate Breastmilk or formula. If there is no proper hydration ur baby may pee in dark yellow colour. If the baby has completed six months, yes you can start giving semi solids gradually.
