A. Please wait for 6-8 weeks before starting any exercises. Walk for atleast thrice a week. Eat foods rich in carbohydrates, low in fat and loaded with vitamins and minerals. Avoid sweets and items that have saturated fats such as ghee, fried foods, butter and aerated drinks. Eat more fruits, vegetables and lean protein. Breastfeed your baby for atleast 6 months after a C-section. Drink lots of water and other fluids like lemon water or lemon juice and honey in lukewarm water and drink it once in a day preferably in the morning. Get adequate rest.
