A. For deworming a two-year, eleven-month-old child, it's crucial to use a medication that is safe and appropriate for their age. Here are some commonly used deworming medications for young children: 1. **Mebendazole**: Often used for treating common intestinal worms such as roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. The typical dosage for children is a single dose of 100 mg, which may be repeated after a few weeks if necessary. 2. **Albendazole**: Another option for treating a range of intestinal parasites. The usual dose for children is 400 mg, typically given as a single dose. 3. **Pyrantel Pamoate**: Used for treating pinworms, roundworms, and hookworms. The dosage is usually based on the child's weight, and it is often given as a single dose. **Important Steps:** 1. **Consult a Pediatrician**: Before administering any deworming medication, consult your child’s pediatrician to determine the appropriate medication and dosage. They can recommend the best treatment based on your child’s specific needs and health condition. 2. **Follow Dosage Instructions**: Adhere strictly to the dosage and administration instructions provided by your pediatrician or on the medication package. 3. **Monitor for Side Effects**: While side effects are rare, be aware of any adverse reactions and report them to your pediatrician. 4. **Hygiene Practices**: To prevent re-infection, practice good hygiene, including regular handwashing and maintaining clean living environments. Always seek professional medical advice to ensure the safety and efficacy of the deworming treatment for your child.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 dguays once this cycle should be repeated every six months at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to give this medicine only after taking guidance by your doctor Thanks and take care
