A. dear mum, to reduce your weight, you should eat mindfully. there is no need to eat less. in fact, as a breastfeeding mother you should eat one additional healthy meal as compared to earlier because the nutritional requirements for breastfeeding mother's are high. reduce your calorie and fat intake especially from high fat, sugar and salt containing food and beverages, processed packaged foods. have good intake of fibre and low fat protein sources. don't skip breakfast. have good water intake. at least 45 to 60 minutes exercise daily. Continued breastfeeding till 2 years helps in losing weight.
