Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. you need to protect your child from Summer heat by keeping comfortable temperature and using cotton clothes .you can apply zoccon powder on the prickly heat rash area. The area should be kept dry and clean . You can give bath daily with lukewarm water using a mild soap like baby hug or sebamed . Additionally can allow the child to sleep in AC at a temperature maintaining 26 to 27 degree centigrade but try to avoid any direct air of cooler or AC over the baby.as food for the baby you can give all kind of seasonal fruits and vegetables. you can give Apple everyday .can also give mango , pomegranate,papaya and banana according to the season and requirement .
avoid giving banana excessively and daily otherwise it may cause constipation.
you can also give rice preparations oatmeals, curd preparations, and daliya. it will be better if you are able to give dairy products daily apart from milk. refrigerated and packed foods should be avoided, junk foods should also be avoided.
if you will give excessive of milk to the child the hunger may get satisfied by that and the child may not be interested in hczaving other variety of food.
Important is that you need to give a balanced diet to your child with proper fulfillment of nutritional and energy requirements according to the age.
