#AskTheExpert sir it is ok if my child is getting cold often during this winter. one more doubt is that ..is there any quantity in giving food for my six months old

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be assocdeiated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Use saline nasal drops
Give indirect steam inhalation
Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm
Do tummy time and cycyling movement of legs regularly
Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment
