Q.

#AskTheExpert My son has a cough and cold which keeps coming and going, he was given nebuliser 2 times a day, ascoril, Sporidex, Domstal, and solvin cold. I wanted to know if this is not too much for a 3 month old also should I continue the medicines ?

A. cough and cold may be infective or allergic in cause.give steam to relieve congestion and nasoclear drops can also be used in nose multiple times can also give maxtra drops.cough syrup or nebulization should be given according to the type of cough .self medication is not advisable. if the cough is productive give kufril-ls. give only simple hoome-made preparations as required ,child will eat as symptoms resolve.

A. just steam for the abby .Sneezing and cough is common in this changing wheather . So steam is a good that can be given to babies for 2 to 3 times in a day at home only . For severe cough asthakind LS and montair like medication can be given .
