Q.

#AskTheExpert my son abhiram, 4year old, licking hands, sometimes toys, our hands, sometimes biting toys, our hands, when we scold about biting and all he feels irritated more.. he feels like ashamed and he feels irritated more tensed came to disturb us throwing toys, came to bite continuously or when we hinder his these kind irritable activites sometimes he cries with making high vooice. it will end only we go and make him okay after sometimes he becomes ok. is this any behavioural issues or becausevany problems.

A. the most common cause of such behaviour problems in children would be due to nutritional deficiency and the second most common cause would be due to boredom. it is advisable to take a visit with your pediatrician

A. hi it happens because of nutritional deficiency or kids do this when they try to get attention from parents so please offer homemade healthy food keep your child well hydrated avoid giving RO water provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day spend quality time with your child don't scold or yell at your child just gently remove the thing from his or her hand and say no firmly though it is hard but please stay calm consistent and positive
