Q.

#asktheexpert My daughter is completely on Brest feeding. Her birth weight is 2.94 kg and she is 3 months old and her weight is 6.8 kg. Is that okay? Also she is sleeping for 8 hours at night without feeding and not passing urine at time but at day time she is passing the urine around 13 times. Is that okay ?

A. Though the diaper may not be as wet as usual, as long as your baby is peeing every 3 to 4 hours, there is no cause for concern. If your baby who is in the lactational stage does not pee for more than half a day, it is a cause for concern. Your baby may be suffering from dehydration.
