Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 4 months old. she is completely on bm. I have good milk supply but she is hardly feeding for 2 to 3 minutes. she is not gaining enough weight. Her birth weight was 3.2 kg and she weighs 5.4 kg now

A. Hello mom If you observe she is been gaining weight gradually and it is good enough for her age she has almost doubled the birth weight also babies tend to do between 4 to 6 months of age

A. Dear ma’am, do you experience any pain while breastfeeding? Is she able to latch well at breast? If the feeding time is less, Urine count and weight gain is not adequate then I would suggest you to get hands on help from a certified lactation consultant
